Dusk Hedges is part of the Criffel family of brands. The nursery, situated on Criffel Station, is owned and managed by the Bell family, owners of the station since 1965.
Long-time locals, the Bell’s have a deep passion for the environment and a lifetime of experience growing. They continue to focus on transforming landscapes through planting targeted species for the health and wellbeing of the land, the waterways and people. Dusk Hedges is built from their principles, too.
At our specialist nursery located in Wānaka we spend years nurturing our hedging from seedlings to mature hedges ready to create your instant haven.
By the end of our process our hedge plants are in our Dusk bagging system – within the bags are everything these plants need to thrive at your property.
You simply dig a small trench and on arrival the bags are cut and the mature hedge plants plus all the soil and nutrients from the bag, are slotted into the trench.
